You Must Believe in a Higher Power to Really Succeed in Life, or You’re Lost
Life can be a rollercoaster. One day, everything feels like it’s falling into place; the next, you’re thrown off course, unsure of where to go. We chase success—whether in our careers, relationships, or personal goals—hoping that once we "make it," we’ll finally feel fulfilled. But here’s the truth: if you’re only chasing success without believing in something bigger than yourself, you’ll always end up feeling lost.
Believing in a higher power isn’t about subscribing to a religion. It’s about recognizing that you’re part of something far greater than your own desires. Call it God, the universe, or whatever resonates with you, but without that deeper connection, life can feel hollow. You might achieve everything you’ve ever wanted and still find yourself feeling empty inside. Because true success isn’t just about achieving goals—it’s about finding purpose, meaning, and connection to something beyond yourself.
When you believe in a higher power, life’s challenges hit differently. Instead of feeling like a victim of circumstance, you see hardships as part of a bigger plan, shaping you into the person you’re meant to become. You trust that every struggle has a purpose, even when you can’t see it clearly. And that trust gives you strength when life feels like it’s falling apart.
There’s a peace that comes with believing in a higher power. It’s like a compass that keeps you pointed in the right direction, even when storms hit. You don’t get lost in the noise of the world because you know that what really matters isn’t what other people think of you, but how closely you’re walking the path you were meant to walk. Sure, you’ll stumble, you’ll take detours, but you’ll always find your way back because you trust that there’s a reason for every twist and turn.
So, yeah, life’s complicated, and the pursuit of success can be a tricky game. But if you’re only focused on the material, if your goals are all about personal gain, then it’s easy to feel lost, even when you’ve “made it.” Believing in a higher power doesn’t mean you won’t still chase your dreams or work hard. It means you’ll do all that with a deeper understanding that success isn’t about what you achieve on the outside but how you grow on the inside. You’ll know that, no matter what, you’re not alone in this journey.
On the flip side, real success starts to look different, too. It’s no longer just about money, status, or recognition. It’s about aligning with your purpose, using your talents to make a positive impact, and walking a path that feels right for your soul. That’s the kind of success that truly satisfies, the kind that brings peace.
Without faith in a higher power, life can feel like running a race with no finish line. You’re always chasing, always striving, but never really arriving. But when you believe in something greater, you realize you’re never truly lost—you’re being guided, even when the way forward seems unclear.
At the end of the day, success isn’t just about what you achieve, but how deeply you connect with the bigger purpose of your life, Emuna. Believe in something bigger, and you’ll find that you’re never really lost—just growing and expending. Ace 😊 Shabbat Shalom
